At this university we created vast student recreational areas including shaded sitting spaces, grassed lawns for lunch time soccer/touch footy, and connecting paths with shade trees. An avenue of fig trees creates a central feature along the pedestrian street and sense of place for the connection of the buildings. Shade structures are used while the trees grow and add colour to the environment and add a great style.
