Structures Project 03

After the death of a family member we designed this memorial garden space for the client to celebrate their life. A timber arch at the entry leads through to a floral feature garden. On the left is a low sitting wall surrounding a liquidambar tree for family members to meet and talk. On the right are memorial mosaic tiles on step stones scatted around the curved arch wall, which holds sentimental objects for the clients. The port hole gives framed views to the far distance. This unique design is a tribute to the family and allows them to bond and remember.
